Dr. Fox completed his undergraduate work at Amherst College in Massachusetts and received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedics at Duke University and a fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, gaining specialty training in pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis. He later served as chief of staff at Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport.
Over his career Dr. Fox developed a special interest in growth-related skeletal deformities and particularly in deformity of the pediatric and adolescent spine.
Dr. Fox is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America. He is also a member of the Shreveport Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Association.
